HOME > Greetings
I hereby would like
to express my sincere appreciation and thanks to Mr. Fukami
and to other members of FPO. Furthermore, I wish to
express my deep appreciation and gratitude to the incumbent
president, Mr. Kihara, who is a very talented patent
attorney possessing remarkable management skills.
In 2016, FPO
Trademark Department's staff increased to 35 members,
consisting of eleven (11)
patent
attorneys, two
trainees and
22
secretaries. This is one of the biggest trademark teams
in Japan. Bearing this fact in mind, I came to think that it
was a good time to leave FPO for the purposes of
“generation change”
and “passing the baton”
on to capable junior patent attorneys of
FPO trademark
team.
At the same time, I
came to realize my long-held dream of starting my own IP
firm. I talked about my dream with FPO
chairman, Mr.
Fukami, and FPO
president, Mr. Kihara, and they
consented to my decision to leave FPO. This momentous
decision enabled me to actualize my dream.
I am dedicated to
providing IP services of high quality, focusing mainly in
the trademark field, including giving consultations to
people throughout the world as well as in Japan. Please feel
free to contact me at any time. I look forward to hearing
from you.
